At the very least there are three jobs better than NC State's...but up to 6 that I can see as being more attractive. What other schools are also looking to get rid of their coach? I don't want to be competing with too many open jobs.

BE to B10 is an upgrade but I don't get leaving a solid job for what is currently a bottom rung one in a tougher conference unless it's the SEC.

BC was already in the ACC. What comparison is there?

And NC State was and is far better positioned for long-term success in football and basketball than BC ever was, regardless of short-term results.

I just dont get how you go from a team winning conference championships and going to BCS bowls to at best the 3rd or 4th best program in your division. Either the pay is a fuck ton or he simply wants the challenge of having to compete with alabama and lsu every year.

Earlier rumors were that Hazzell was taking the Purdue job. Apparently that's not true and Hazzell has informed his players that he is not taking the Purdue job. The Purdue rivals site is reporting that.
