Getting hitched 4/20/13 and I need to start thinking of groomsmans gifts. I have seen the normal knife, flask, yadda yadda. I wanted to do something different, with a budget of $30-$50 per groomsman.

I was thinking of buying each person a bottle of their favorite liquor and a cigar, but I have one groomsman that does not drink.

Then I thought, maybe an inexpensive humidor. I got one for christmas that was only $24 from Amazon, and its pretty trick for a cheaper unit.

Any suggestions?

One groomsman doesn't drink, but surely all of them smoke cigars? <shrug>

Just give em 30 bucks. That'd be non-standard.

You don't always have to give everyone the same thing either. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting all but one of your groomsmen one thing and then getting something different for the one who doesn't drink if you still wanted to do the liquor thing.

I guess it just depends on if they don't drink or have something strongly against drinking in which case you are afraid it would offend them or something.

^The design your own converse is pretty cool. Did you just give them a certificate or something where they could?

We sent her an email for our custom design from the converse website and she ordered them. We received our shoes at the rehearsal dinner and them wore them to the reception.

Elise rocks.

I think I might do a personalized engraved beer mug for each groomsman. That's the only idea I have right now.

While that's cool, I'd like to get them something in addition to that as well. Any thoughts? I thought about the grill thing posted earlier but only one of them grills with any regularity but we all drink beer.

a) Booze

b) the non-drinker- is there a hobby he does? Like rock climbing, golf, running, etc.? Get him a small gift
relevant to this (my boyfriend plays music, and at one wedding the groomsman got him a case for all of his
different sticks).

you're getting married on 4/20. I'm thinking...rolling papers, a grinder...you know where I'm going with this.

raiden pm me, when I get home I will get the site my husband used. So cheap. I think they ended up with huge, maybe 32 ounce mugs, engraved for 12 bucks. Heavy duty, too.

^^ That's pretty cool. My wife and I are thinking of picking up a cool map of NC to frame and hang on a wall so there are definitely people out there who would appreciate that.

^Something like this would be cool too: http://img2.etsystatic.com/016/0/7576656/il_570xN.411387166_qn4r.jpg

And, nice bottles of booze are always winners (hard to go wrong with consumables). If they brew beer and/or have a kegerator, a custom tap handle is also great

give them the gift of not having to spend $150-$200 on renting a tux. I allowed the guys to wear their own dark suits and bought the black ties as their gift.

Wedding is on the beach. Groomsman gift is going to be leather sandals (rainbows, and no, I'm not frattastic ) with the logo of each one's preferred university. Like so:

Unfortunately, some are UNC fans. That's going to be a difficult purchase.

I'm also giving them the ties they will have to wear, but that's less of a groomsman gift and more of a "neither one wears ties often enough and I feel bad for making them purchase this exact one" situation.
