An international student's wife (with no health insurance) wants to do some routine GYN examination. Any recommendations? Is that possible for her to pay the bill herself? How much will that cost? Thank you so much.

Has she tried Planned Parenthood? Before I had health insurance I went to PP for exam and birth control

^^^^Let's just hope the bigots, whether inside the legislature or on the streets, haven't yet run them all out like they've tried to in some other states.

^I imagine it would go along the lines of some yokel claiming to be able to do it himself, despite the distinct lack of gynecologists on these Internets.

Yes, she can go to the Planned Parenthood On Boylan and get her annual done. I think I paid ~ $120-130 without insurance when I was between school and work. I was able to get my scrips updated as well.

I'm also surprised she can't get health insurance through her husband- or is this one of those times where it's cheaper to pay out of pocket than for shitty school insurance?
