I think they watch replays of the two games in rack focus and see who wins. If that doesn't decide it, they go to chuck Norris for the thumbs up or thumbs down

Ideal situation is that unc beats duke, locking in the 3rd seed. The uva loses one of their last 2 and we beat FSU

This way we'd play the UVA/VT winner and then most likely Miami and would not play duke or UNC until the finals

I don't even care about who wins the UNC/Duke game, if we win on Saturday and Virginia loses one of their last two, we have a Thursday bye, which is all we ultimately want

if UNC beats Duke, we probably play Virginia then Miami

if Duke beats UNC, we probably play Maryland then Duke

either way the Friday game is definitely winnable, the Saturday game will be tough

I want the 3 seed. Would be nice to finish ahead of UNC in the standings for once, even if it's via some random tiebreaker.

Also, I'm sick of us losing to Duke in the ACCT finals. Would rather we try our luck facing them in the semis.

I'd rather play Miami in the second round personally.

I feel MUCH MUCH better playing them than Duke and the extra win against a Top 15 RPI team will only help our seeding, even if we lose to Duke in the finals.

In a perfect world we play UVa/Miami/UNC in the ACCT.

Quick question:

If you had to pick one, would you rather with an ACC tourney or reach the Elite 8?

I'd obviously be happy with either, and thrilled with both, but I honestly can't decide. I guess the Elite 8 would be better for recruiting, but an ACC crown would mean sooooo much to this team...

Elite 8 is kind of a bastard goal anyway, doesn't get you much more credit than a sweet 16. Final Four gets your dick sucked. I'd take a final four over any conference stuff, but an ACC crown over an Elite 8.

I don't think the conference means that much, unless we were the reg season and tourney.. Nobody cares that fsu won it last year, and it was the first time theyve ever done it. We'll remember that Miami was really good.. I dunno, maybe it's just because duke and unc win it every year and are the only teams that matter that I'm jaded.

If we were the 3 seed, we'd have to play ~9:30/10 Friday, then Duke Saturday ~330/4.

Very little chance we could win 2 that close together.
