I hear that senior employees get screwed, because they aren't eligible for new hire bonuses. They also cut your pay until you threaten to quit, at which point their stop-loss people offer you a raise and perks. It especially sucks since they're the only option for cable employment in many areas. I wish Verizon would hurry up and extend service to more places so people I know could get better jobs. 4/4/2013 8:44:11 AM |

I got a job there and was promised $120k/year, but they only gave me that salary for the first few weeks then it dropped to a really terrible salary. Every time I ask about it though they check it and tell me everything is correct. And it's double annoying because to schedule a meeting about it I have to wait in an 8-hr time block for a 20-minute meeting. I can't even afford to buy videos to watch, I have to pay for them a few minutes at a time and wait till I can afford to watch some more! 4/4/2013 9:07:36 AM |

was my thought exactly. I was like, "he asked about working there, not being an employee"... then it hit me he was also talking about working there.

I did some contract work for them. Seems like your typical Corporate America workplace. 4/4/2013 9:51:50 AM |
