I would like to hire one or two people to help me move some mulch and do a little yard work. I have moved about half of my 18 cubic yards of mulch and would like a little help for the rest of the pile. I am willing to pay $10 an hour as this task is neither physically or mentally taxing, just a good workout. I would expect a minimum of 3 hours and not more than 5.

If the rain is light tomorrow morning we could probably work some later in the afternoon (3-8) or I am available all day Saturday. I can do any time on Saturday. Let me know when you are available. I have good references from the other few times I have hired workers off the Wolf Web.

so, maybe all these crickets I am hearing are volunteering? Give me some feedback. Am I too low on my hourly wage? I think it seems fairly reasonable for some light yardwork.

If shoveling mulch, moving in a wheelbarrow and then shoveling out is light yard work, what's heavy yard work? Building the pyramids?

I would consider moving dirt/gravel, pulling stumps and digging fence posts heavy yard work. I hate pulling weeds more than moving mulch.

Thanks for the input. I don't have anyone helping out yet but I made more progress tonight than I thought I would. It would still be great to have a little help so send me a message if you are interested.

Surround your entire home/deck/foundation in decorative rock and you will then agree moving a little mulch is pretty easy.
