Didn't see a thread for it, but the new season of Top Shot started this week. They brought back four people from the previous four seasons who didn't win but made it to the individual portion.

Love the new format with no teams. It is what I wanted all along.

I'm pulling for Kelly. I feel he was picked on in the first season and owned every elimination challenge he went to (which was several). I think he would have went further in his season if he didn't have the poor luck of having to go first on that challenge he lost on.

I won't spoil the first episode in the first post here, but I love who was eliminated

caught a replay of the premiere last night. hated seeing Gunny falter on the FAL moving platform again just like in the finals a couple years back. i really like that there are no teams this season. the proving ground will be enough to separate these guys.

There are quite a few people who made the individual stage who aren't back this time. Though I do wonder if any turned down the opportunity. I was hoping Mike Hughes would be on again.

I love this format of no teams (even though they had squads this last one) it takes all the stupid drama that every other reality show has out. I am also pretty impressed with everyone's performances, so much different than the other seasons with some mediocre shooters that are definitely not going to win.

Really enjoying this season so far. I too am quite happy about the Episode 1 elimination. Also too got a bit of a laugh when Jaime Franks got picked last yet again.

Agreed. I pretty much assumed she was going to win that contest no matter where Chee's head was. That being said, I am surprised she screwed up the down select. She's normally a crack shot.

Looked like they were blurred out with some writing on them. I know he usually wears some tape over one eye, but it looked blurred out by the show and not something he did

Good episode this week. Loved the mile long shot. I was a little surprised they didn't go with the .50 on a shot that long but I guess the .338 lapua works pretty well too.

Yeah, I was shocked by Jamie's shot as well. I know Sniper Bro nailed it in 16 for the demo, but if I remember the season he was in, I think it took him about that time to hit that 1,000m target in a single shot.

Fun final episode. It's always hard to watch when someone is struggling with a weapon, especially if you know they're competent with it.

It was cool to see the other four winners there. Although, I honestly don't remember the guy who won season 4. Guess I'll have to go back and watch it again at some point.

Good finale, Phil destroyed those first two challenges... very impressive. I would've liked to have seen Kelly in the final 4, I think he would've been more fun in that group than Gary. I never gave Gary a real chance considering how physical the last two challenges were. Same with Zins, if he'd made it thru the AK challenge there's now way he hangs with the times Phil and Chris posted.

On a meaningless note, minus the custom paint job and custom wakeboards, that boat sucks. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to win it, but as far as brand-new power/wake boats go, it's pretty lame.
