Are there many entrepreneurs on TWW? I think most of the folks on here graduated in the mid 2000's, and I'm just curious if any of you have been able to get a business up and running with success. It's always been of interest to me. Let's hear what kind of cool businesses tww'ers have started. What would you do differently? Anybody have side businesses they've started up to compliment their full time salaries? 6/5/2013 7:25:02 PM |

I co-founded a venture backed startup that went through TechStars.
Before that I also had a small side "business". 6/6/2013 1:18:11 PM |

my girlfriend is an entrepreneur. she owns her own business and has several full time employees - a domestic staffing agency - you know, basically finding butlers, nannies, housekeepers, estate managers for very wealthy people. i think this is the third business she has started, and she just turned 28. she has that mentality completely - always looking for the next thing and how to grow and expand. she also has a patented invention completely unrelated to her business that she's been working on marketing for a few years now. 6/10/2013 5:38:13 AM |
