Good luck. Where I live, even good will stores will not take CRT tvs. They have to be taken to the county recycling center.

It's because they have the old analog tuners and can't receive OTA signals anymore. Idiots buy them and then bring them back saying they don't work.

Also they can't throw them away because of the hazardous shit inside so they have to pay to have them hauled off if they don't sell.

(Or so an employee of the Carrboro PTA thrift told me...)
