I just created a basic website (domain registered on GoDaddy, site hosted on HostGator) and it is viewable to everyone I speak to, I can see it via mobile, and I can see it at my work, but when I am on my home network, I get redirected to TWC's http://www.dnsrsearch.com when trying to go to the site like it does not exist. WTF? 6/21/2013 8:01:09 PM |

When you say "just created" how long has it been?
Also, why aren't you using OpenDNS at the homenetwork son? 6/21/2013 10:31:24 PM |

I personally use Comodo Secure DNS (although I subscribe to Time Warner Cable), and the only real downside is the lag in DNS propagation. 6/22/2013 4:25:05 AM |

propagation needs to happen - some providers update often, some don't, give it a day. 6/22/2013 8:18:48 AM |

Been a day... still no go. I was just confused because others on TWC in the same area can see it. Guess I'll just keep waiting. Thanks 6/22/2013 10:01:48 AM |

Also if you're using Chrome and have the experimental asynchronous DNS client enabled, restart Chrome after you've done all that and can successfully ping or nslookup your domain name. 6/22/2013 4:27:44 PM |
