Can you find a supercharged gen1 mr2?

My sister has a n/a gen 1 with an auto and it was awesome I can only imagine what it could have been with a blower and a 5 speed.

If money was no object and I was looking for a potential Frankenstein project, I'd shoot for a Fiero, be it a 2M6, Formula, or GT. '88 only.

And then proceed to slam dunk a supercharged 3800 in there. Fits better than a SBC, which doesn't exactly drop in without a bit of tweaking. A bit lighter. And doesn't require a bell housing adapter.

Or for that matter, why not Cad V6, or maybe Northstar or Aurora?

however, if you're going to spend money on this forget the fiero and grab a formula atlantic engine and drop it in, since it's a 4age like stock. wouldn't need to replace much of anything besides the fuel system, radiator, and turbo

150+ feet to stop from 60mph? That's kind of scary.

i had two N/A AW11s. they were both a blast. one had t-tops. those shits forever leaked. never doing that again. the other was a slick top. by far the coolest, but really hard to find.

I test drove an 86 AW11. It was a ton of fun. I really enjoyed it, despite the low HP. There are two '89 supercharged MR2's on clist. $5k for one and $6,800 for the other. Both look in solid shape. ~150hp in a 2,500lb midengine car? Oh you know that's fun.
