The insignias in the OP are extremely Frank Miller.

So they're just going to completely never do a Wonder Woman movie?

Probably for the best

i think it was lifted directly from Frank Miller's work.

Quote :
"Lest there be any confusion, this film is not an adaptation of Miller’s story. Snyder explicitly said “we’re not adapting this thing, but it is the thing that will help us tell that story.” So while the logo he showed on screen, pictured above, uses the bat logo design from Miller’s work, this won’t quite be a direct adaptation. The thing to take away is likely that there will be a conflict between Batman and Superman, and that it might not end well for Supes."

I wonder who they are going to get to play Batman. I figured that they'd probably reboot the Batman series and maybe get another Superman movie under their belt before they went down that road.

I'm not sure why they chose Affleck for this... especially since Joseph Gordon-Levitt has already signed on for "The Great Detective"

I figured it would be JGL but whatever, Affleck is a lot better than he used to be.

Hope he bulks up though.

The Nolan Batman is whole thing unto itself. this is separate from the Nolan batman. JGL isnt doing shit.

this batman character is played by Bruce Wayne ( I hope)

I think he can pull it off but I'm thinking of him as an older, cynical Bruce Wayne that doesn't suit up as much anymore. Bennifer is so long ago I've kinda forgiven him for those couple of years.

As much as I dislike Affleck, everybody was all like "WTF" when they cast Heath Ledger for the joker, and a lot of people had doubts about Bale also.

He can't be worse than Bale. I also think people underrate his acting because they don't like him as a person...similar to Cruise, although Cruise is a better actor.

I think he can pull it off.

.......okay, with the initial moment of panic subsided...I think he might pull this off.

Affleck ten years ago? Not a chance. But I think he's really become very seasoned since then. I have faith that he will be able to channel the right amount of subtlety and avoid hamminess.

He actually could look the part pretty well, now that I think about it. The problem is the voice. Without some digital work in post, it just will not be deep enough.

^^^ I actually like Bale as Batman. Much better than Keaton or Clooney or Kilmer. Affleck seems like an odd choice, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He's made some better films lately.

two things:

1) worse than Bale? I'm sure that you probably hated the voice, but the dude is a capital A Actor

2) and while he has been surprisingly great as a director, nobody has ever made the claim that he is anything other than a slightly above-average actor. and that's fine for this part. he's waaaaay past the national punchline stage of his career, so I don't think he has to worry about that perception.

Christian Bale was a good Bruce Wayne and a god awful Batman

Michael Keaton was the only good Batman

I feel Bale and Nolan's talents were wasted on Batman. Bale seemed disinterested.
