I heard on some forum that PC version will be open tomorrow, but that's just word of mouth, I don't have any links.

Also, the game finally showed up in the game demos section, but the download button says "Unavailable"

I did hear rumors that pc was going to open up as well.

You might want to consider following titanfall on Twitter. Earlier tonight they tweeted out a BUNCH of pc beta codes.

Played 3 matches, finished middle of the pack every time pretty much but so far have only used assault pilot and assault titan. Will try the other classes when I start my all day titanfall marathon tomorrow.

Awesome fun so far though. Might actually download on PC also to compare when that becomes open beta.

He'll that's all I do. I just farm the bots, get titans that I put in AI mode and then double team people on foot.

I routinely have like 30+ minion kills.

Game is fun, with that said I will not be buying it.


Simply put its too easy,I routinely get 30+ minion kills, 4-5 pilots, 5-6 specters a game while dying 2-3 times.

The developers did a damn good job, only dev related issue I've see (aside from servers) is frame rate problems on x1.

And that will be my final comment on this game, go ahead and attack.

It's too easy, but 4-5 pilot kills a game really isn't that good.

And 30 minion kills is a lot, you must be looking for grunts to kill

I find myself resupply camping grunts most games, then I go rodeo other pilots when they get their titans.

If you think of it as a pure shooter you'll probably be disappointed but like the developers have said they were influenced by MOBA design a lot so you can play that way too.

Killing minions won't yield as much point wise but do enough and it has an impact and you'll be rolling in titans.

I'd be interested if the full game has modes without AI and/or Titans.

I'll be following a pilot into a building, put like 20 rounds into him, then find out that was a minion who was already in the room, and the pilot is standing off to the side killing me

Also it seems like using a burn card puts a flashing SHOOT ME billboard over my head. Out of the 4-5 burn card weapons I've used I think I've killed 2 people.

If you actually put 20 rounds into a pilot they'd be dead. Regarding the cards, it depends on which card I'm using. Some are more utility based but if I get ahold of a weapon upgrade card I tend to wreck shit, get more kills, or live longer than usual. I'm not very good but it seems like you may be worse than me.

I don't think you understood what I meant. The thing I put 20 rounds into was dead. It was a grunt, not a pilot. By the time I saw "Killed Grunt" on the screen the pilot I was following was already shooting me.

I'm almost certainly worse than you with a controller. I haven't played a console shooter in years and I'm garbage now. Been planning on getting this for X1 since I've heard about it, but I may have to get it for PC, I'll have to try that beta when it opens.

I don't seem to be very good at "rodeoing" titans. I have to go through 3-4 reloads to take it down, which takes a while. What am I doing wrong? Using the wrong gun or something?

If they have a ground war style game mode, 12v12 no BOTS, I'll buy it. But in present form, this game is impossible to suck at, which is a major turn off. I played in some matches of attrition where I led a team that won 250-80. I just didn't get that feeling of accomplishment that a good round a COD or battlefield gives me. Killing a person is 100x's better than bot farming. dtownral

i like the bots, they make the game more approachable for beginners by giving them something to shoot and kill. i'm not sure what the concern about bot farming is, that they are doing it on the other team or on your team? who cares if the other team is doing it, they are worth hardly any points. if its your own team just get a new team. i also like that the bots keep people moving; pretty much the only way a bot can kill you is if you are camped down somewhere and they shoot you from behind while you aren't looking.

ncwolfpack disagrees with me vehemently but I find the epilogue phase to be a complete waste of time that will get annoying having to do it after every game. That's probably my only real complaint so far.
