I think they look pretty good, but since every college football team has a black uniform, its kind of lost its luster. So much better than those dreadful yellow ones they wore in the game in Charlotte

Have you ever seen an ECU uniform? I'd be willing to be you've never seen a black one. So unless you've seen ECU in black uniforms then they are extremely visibly different than previous uniforms. I like the uniforms. I like the black paint on the EAST CAROLINA in the end zones.

I think Kentucky, South Carolina and Illinois have a lot of other teams they hate more than UNC. And Duke is a completely different situation that all the rest, they are in our conference, but no I don't pull against Duke. ECU hates UNC a lot more than they hate us, or anyone else really for that matter. No I don't hate ECU. I am alright with them winning some games, and being successful. Just lose against us and I'm alright with them. I view them in the same light as Wake. Except slightly lower, because Wake didn't tear down our goal posts after beating Miami.

I guess I'm looking at that picture and looking at the details. In the picture, they are purple jerseys. Completely different types of material. Purple stitching on the shoulders on new ones. Number on the sleeves, no logo on new ones. East Carolina is not giant and gaudy on new ones. Numbers are completely different. I don't actually see similarities in the two.

To me, they look purple and because of sweat they look darker. If you look at the shoulder of the player on the right, it seems purple to me.

Tree, that jersey is purple. Just sweat makes it black looking. That's the jerseys they wore before the switch to their current purple with skull and crossbones.
