That everyone KNOWS the new iPhones are coming out soon and people are trying to unload their old ones to get top $ before they do. It happens whenever Apple releases a new product.

this is for people who want to buy a phone without a contract. i'm not arguing the price because i have a 4S, but nobody should be surprised that old iPhone models are going to go up for sale before a launch.PS: it's not unlikely that a good conditioned 4S could go for $2-250, especially on craigslist or something of the sort. free bump.

The older ones are becoming more sought after anyway. With every passing day Apple becomes more shit-like.Everyone I know that dumped their 3GS for a 4 hates it with a passion. No wonder they got "top dollar" when they "upgraded."

Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but it IS always a bit amusing when Craigslist is suddenly flooded with iPhones/Macbooks/iWhatever within a few hours of an Apple presentation.

We sell the certified pre-owned 8GB iPhone 4 for $200 and have no problems getting rid of them. The key is finding someone that has broken/lost their current phone, is under contract, and doesn't have insurance.
