went last year. was happy to see stuff like this in the triangle, but having been to pax a number of times, i was a little disappointed

They managed their space a lot better this year and attendance appeared to be up.

I had tons of fun, even though I only got about 3 hours of sleep for the entire weekend and shot for about 28 of the 48 hours. I got awesome interviews of all of the major panelists that I wanted, great shots of cosplayers, live band on Saturday night at motorco and then I also convinced some 100 people who were playing Zombies vs. Humans to do a braveheart melee battle scene in the court yard. It was epic.

The Escapist staffers were pretty impressed with my work abilities, plus they also digged my costumes. I went as a war videographer Saturday and then just wore my motorcycle race suit and helmet for Sunday. I did all of the interviews today with the helmet on.

The guy in the stormtrooper costume fiddled with my helmet and locked my visor and I didn't know how to unlock it. There's a 10 minute video of me trying to open it and then like 5 other nerds trying to figure it out... WHILE I still had it on... It was pretty funny.
