Not gonna lie, that looks almost too twee. And that's coming from a guy who fucking loves Wes Anderson.

Also, I know he's not stunt casting, but that thing is so top-loaded, the trailer certainly FEELS stunt casted.

I'd never heard the word "twee" before.

I'm too in the tank for Wes Anderson to not like the trailer, but I'll certainly listen to arguments against it

and never hearing the word "twee" before? I'm pretty sure there's a rule that mandates every critic use it in their review of any of his films

I'll be watching it, it looks like it's going to have a lot of actors/acresses in it (norton, murray, dafoe, schwartzman, goldblum, keitel, brody, law...)

I need to go back and watch Moonrise Kingdom again soon, I only saw it once in the theater.

his casts always seem to have the most fun experiences when filming these films. It just adds to the enjoyment when watching a WA film. twee it may be, i'll be seeing this.

Starring Tilda Swinton as a dead body!

(That's just fun. This will likely be excellent, I'm just a little worried.)

I really liked it.

Potential spoilers: wasn't a big fan of the chase scene in the snow. Not sure if it would have been better if it were placed in actual Earth history. Did it even take place on Earth? Really liked the kid who played Zero.

woops, forgot that i saw this in LA last weekend. It just feels like he's trying to "out Wes Anderson" himself with each coming feature. I honestly felt like the object of this one was to cram as many cameos in as possible and then worry about a story later. It's still highly enjoyable, but I ultimately left disappointed.

This movie is like cotton candy

Delightful but devoid of real substance

It's low on my Wes Anderson list

The film is in three aspect ratios: 1.33, 1.85, and 2.35:1

Speaking of Wes Andersonisms that add nothing to the movie...

Good.

I like how they really did the sets well, the periods are spot on.

I liked how fun this movie was. thought it was way better than Moonrise Kingdom, which tried too hard.

I enjoyed every part of the story except the ending. It all just concluded matter-of-factly while all the other plot aspects were much more meaningful.

I loved all the cameos during the shootout, especially George Clooney.

my wife and I finally watched it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. It's not going to appear on a list of my favorites or anything but it was an enjoyable movie.
