2008 Honda CR-V EX 2.4L FWD. 6 speaker stereo, sunroof, tire pressure sensors, aux-input/6 disc CD. 105,xxx miles (will go up slightly as we drive it). New front brakes, Michelin tires with less than 25K on them, new air filters, and fresh oil change. Never had any trouble with this car, perfect operation. Nothing malfunctioning or broken, everything works flawless. 24-27mpg, plenty of power, smooth ride. Only selling because wife got company car, or else we'd keep it. I own a high end mobile detailing company, so this CR-V is likely the cleanest CR-V you'll find anywhere. I have babied this car since new, washing and waxing it regularly. It received constant attention, and has always been kept in flawless shape. That being said, it does have 105K miles, so do expect some chips and minor dings. It will be the cleanest CR-V you'll find, but dont expect it to be a brand new car.We are asking $14,500 or *reasonable* offer. You are welcome to come to us to take a look, and with vaild NC drivers license, a test drive. My wife and I are available most days after 5:00pm. Feel free to call me at 919-671-9377 with any questions.

NADA and KBB both say clean private party ~ $14500. Other CR-V's on craigslist and autotrader reflect that as well.

^^ The information you quoted is meaningless without listing the source.

My source is KBB.com

Going from the basic options that you mentioned I am getting around 10-11k as well from kbb.comCould you list the options that your CR-V has?
11/14/2013 12:12:30 AM
I also got $10.8k on KBB. Here's an '08 with AWD, less miles, and newer tires for $13.5k, and the KBB value ranges from $13,030-$15,080...http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4155769914.html

Classic tww The price is negotiable. You have to start somewhere.[Edited on November 14, 2013 at 10:12 AM. Reason : .]

^That shows 2wd and 4wd on the same screen. Which is it?
11/14/2013 10:51:39 AM
Its a 2WD.

Private party and Retail aren't the same thing. With Retail, there is usually some sort of warranty, and the car has passed and xx point inspection by a mechanic.
11/14/2013 4:15:17 PM
As I said, the price is negotiable. Why would I expect any less from the tww classifieds?

Certainly, no one that has posted in this thread is interested in this vehicle, but at least we've all helped keep this thread at the top!

We bought an '04 for $3,200 two years ago.

Bump, $12,000 FIRM. Need cash to help with a house.
11/26/2013 6:46:40 PM
So you're firm above KBB?
11/26/2013 8:47:37 PM
^ How do you figure it's above KBB? That's a good price.
11/26/2013 9:47:32 PM
You can sell used Hondas over KBB. I sold a lexus with bald tires, an oil leak, and 205k miles for like $5500 once because they are hard to get hold of. Hondas are more common than lexus, but they usually get snatched up quickly too.[Edited on November 27, 2013 at 1:28 PM. Reason : is that cloth seats? if so fuck ]
11/27/2013 1:27:07 PM
Yeah its like the *sport* cloth seats. No leather option on CR-V's I dont think.
11/27/2013 1:46:27 PM
12,000 is in the ballpark. I spent a few months looking for one and just ended up with a 2007 ex awd with 56,000 miles for 14,200...and that was a really good deal based on what I had been seeing. and the EX-L has leather.
11/27/2013 2:02:02 PM
The only thing that car has going for it is its clean and well maintained, it has no options on it. I do not think its going to sell on TWW anyway, but to sell it you gonna have to drop the price some more.
11/27/2013 2:07:40 PM
^Yeah, dont think it will sell on TWW either, but its worth a shot.Far as options, it has sunroof, 6-CD changer, alloy wheels, roof rack, and tinted windows. Actually, it has nearly every option on the car except the subwoofer stereo and leather.
