So, you had a valuation done that told you the watch came with features, but doesn't know which features it has? I hope you didn't pay much for that. You could try losing it and filing an insurance claim.

I wouldn't really call that stylish. It looks very plain, actually.Out of the $4,500, $4,000 is for the platinum (case), the rest for the movement (which looks like quartz), leather, design, and labor.Sucks to be stuck with that, knowing that it can get you lots of money, but is nearly impossible to sell. Your best bet is to search ebay, even ebay in a few European countries, and then put it up for a competitive price if you see other people selling it. Or put it up anyway, even if no one is selling it.Search within the forums below, to see if there is any discussion about that brand name:http://forums.watchuseek.com/forum.php

There is on on Ebay Germany that is going for over $5k.

Post it for sale on the major watch forums...probably the only way to sell it. Did it not come in the box? No paperwork?
12/15/2013 10:31:14 PM
I got everything it came with.

Well, I was just guessing, because platinum is really expensive, about 3 times as expensive as gold.

$1, Bob

Well I tracked down the original retailer of the watch in D.C.; they sent me an updated appraisal and the original specs which show it is not platinum (was starting to think it wasn't even though the first place said it was), but the stainless version. Still to expensive for my tastes and I need to sell it to fund a gun purchase. MSRP is between $2400 (dealer in CA) and $2700 (dealer in Durham). New Price is $1,000 or best offer/Flame OnAlso selling a Louis Vuitton backpack if anyone is interested.[Edited on December 30, 2013 at 7:03 PM. Reason : I could fuck up a wet dream]

Was the backpack a gift, too?

I hope the original valuation was free.

Well, the original valuation didn't know what size it was.

$800

^ you can get some amazing watches for $800 that actually look nice, and by nice I don't necessarily mean overly complicated and with multiple dials. Some nice Swiss automatics, and high-end Japan only Seikos and Citizens.
