Former wolfpack player playing in China in Chinese Basketball League.
Man, Beijing citizens treat him like hero! He is pretty successful there!

^ America is the only place in the world where a majority of teams don't have sponsor logos featured prominently on their jerseys.

And plenty do.

^ WNBA does it because they've been a league that always loses money.

MLS does it to seemingly satisfy eurosnobs (plus a little extra money is always nice).

It really depends on the sponsor.

Emirates Airlines, Unicef, or Vodaphone: decently classy companies/orgs

Boost Mobile, Net10, Garbage Prepaid Cellphone Company: may as well be Chico's Bail Bonds

Luckily not.
Damien is recognized as humble, professional, nice, hardworking and responsible.
Pretty much the style of Tar heel and North Carolina.

I'm sure UCONN can.
My uncle told me top 4 NCAA teams could defeat China.
But Clemson is too weak.

Unlike those arrogant expats playing in China, D is amazingly humble and keeps a low-key. That's why Chinese people love him. He used significantly short time to adjust to the new country, new environment and new team.

More like The Human Highlight Film.
You know what Chinese fans call him at first? The Human Highlight TV.
He has some good highlights. That's not easy as a 34-yr old veteran.

The fans and club held a small farewell ceremony right after his final game. Dude scored 32 pts.
Then the stadium was surrounded with the song Hero of Mariah Carey.
Since all-star game in 2003, I haven't seen this song given as a tribute to a basketball player.

I know, but why?
He doesn't have to because his family is already very rich?

I guess so.

Marbury recommended him to Beijing among several candidates. His family background certainly helps.
