Dislike. Reed Richards (top right) is waaaaaay too young. Ben Grimm (bottom left) is waaaaaay too small. No problem with a black Johnny Storm, but considering that he is supposed to be Sue Storm's BROTHER you'd think they would either have both be black or both be white. Due out in March 2015.

If there was ever a comic book movie/series that could use a reboot, it is the fantastic 4, the first two were god fucking awful, it would be an unbelievable feat if this one somehow managed to be worse. I don't really like how young the cast is, but I think they're all talented actors, and they have the guy that directed Chronicle doing this, so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt

^^To me it seems less important that they are biological siblings than they have a brother/sister relationship. After all, what is the point of adapting something if you aren't going to make any changes?

I realize all the halfwit fanboys want a movie made out of their favorite comic series in the most literal way possible, but if someone actually made that movie the same fanboys would complain that it was too predictable.

Going against the origin of the comic is one thing. Completely changing the role / character / team dynamic is another. Fox is doing both with this film. They just basically said, "We don't really give a fuck about the comic or it's origin. We doin our own shit." I mean after all, the director of this film is responsible for mega blockbusters like Chronicle and a tv series that lasted 5 episodes before it was cancelled. Why shouldn't he completely ignore the comic book origin?

Your Chronicle sarcasm is pretty ignorant and misplaced. It was a $12million (EXTREMELY LOW BUDGET) movie that made $120million back. So yeah, you're right, hugely successful endeavor that proved the worth of everyone involved, including 2 involved with F4. Not to mention if you'd actually seen it you'd be totally on board with Trank directing this.

I have no problem with black Human Torch though. I guess he's just going to be the adopted brother of Invisible Woman.

Looks fine I guess but I hate when they give Doom the same kind of natural superpowers from the same accident that the F4 get.

I guess it's easier to explain than "He's just really smart and good with both technology and magic" but whatever kind of electric powers bullshit they always try to give Doom just doesn't do it for me.
