I've never understood LS powered Pontiacs. If you want a capable LS powered vehicle, why not get a Vette? That way you can go fast in a straight line AND not be driving a canoe around the corners.

first run it got slippery somewhere around the 2-3 shift and I let off then decided to get back into it, something like a 9.6@85 Second run I thought I was going to be a champ and power through, rowed through the gears at the first feel of tire slip - to no avail. I think that one was a 9.4 or so. There were ~50-60 trucks doing TNT, so after my suck-ass runs I parked it.

1. ls3/ls2 base c6 = 10k+more than a G8
2. I carried 4 tires and a passenger this weekend, try that in a vette.
3. I have a trunk
4. You rarely see G8's on the road, its a unique vehicle to look at.
5. SLEEPER STATUS ROCKS

It's actually not... I was hoping when I saw it mines supposed to be 511 CID and I was wondering if she lost so,e stroke as I knew we had clearance issues... But it's not... That's not my dizzy or fuel pump... Sigh... Mine should be here Friday.
