Well, I was a finalist again this year...just got the rejection call. They have selected the final cast.

Janelle was teasing on twitter that she may be back this summer (either that or pregnant).

I don't think it's gonna be a complete all star cast though, because I heard there won't be another one because it would be way too expensive.

From what I hear, this year is gonna be real similar to Survivor's "Blood vs Water" season.

i am currently watching BBCanada 2 and it's nothing special. several fan votes.

one vote crowned a favorite cast member and he was rewarded with a special power to insert himself into any veto comp that he wanted. really, not even a cool reward.

another week, Canada was HoH, and voted to put two people on the block.

another cast member found a clue, leading her on a scavenger hunt to a reward, which was the ability to veto anyone anytime, even after the veto ceremony. that was kind of a big deal, but nothing special.

not a lot of twists. i expect BB16 to be much more dramatic. it seems like in the last few seasons, they are pretty obsessed with bringing up the past, whether its in the form of bringing back old characters or bringing on new characters with ties to past characters.

Ariana Grande is a realtively new pop singer. I first heard of her about 6-8 months ago. Nothing she has put out impresses me but the Top 40 jocks never STFU about her, go figure. If I saw her on the street I wouldn't recognize her.

Cast photos look horrible for some of the people. They prob look better IRL.

That said. Im Team Donny and Joey. I am excited about this season I like the fact that they are all nearly recruits, mostly over 26 years of age, and most arent really prior fans of the show. We are going to see some really good manipulation in the house!

Plus the twists will change the way the superfans and fans of the show will play for at least a week or two.

ive seen a picture of of the first group competing in an HOH comp, i wont say who or what the comp was because at this point im not sure what a spoiler is (they filmed the house entrance over the weekend obviously and the two premieres arent live)

people like brittany were lame as fuck with Jeff, but totally loosened up in later interviews. They do like 30 interviews that day is what i can gather.

Battle of the Block seems like an interesting twist, but let's see how it pans out. Lots of different scenarios pending if the two HoHs are friends, foes or neutral.

BotB makes it difficult for HoH to select their nominees obviously. Putting strong players up has much more potential to bite the HoH in the ass with a greater chance of each nominee to get off the block. Unless the two HoHs agree on the 4 nominees together, seems like it would be better for each HoH to pick weaker players so they don't win BotB, take themselves off, and target the HoH that put them up.

A lot of this will have to do with the type of BotB competitions they have. Physical vs mental competitions. Will HoHs know type of competition before making nominations? I'm guessing no.

Anyway, it definitely brings a different dynamic to the game. Seems like this competition will give CBS/BB more power to manipulate the game.

Let me just say that this battle of the block twist actually be a huge success that actually adds to the game... It is working out great IMO that's all I will say bout that

But the two HOHs pick 2 noms from the opposite team without consulting with eachother. Then those two members compete in the BotB and the winners save the HOH from THEIR team not the one who nommed them and also they can't be renommed after the POV

So the selections must be very strategic and I feel like it makes winning effort necessary and will in fact pick off coasters and floaters

I will also add that IMO this cast is fantastic
