This is going to be a really fun draft. I can't wait to see who either hits the jackpot by picking Embiid/screws up by taking Embiid.

i'm leaning bust on embiid, but who the fuck knows.

i am pretty jacked about the hornets having 2 1st rounders.

knicks pulled off a nice trade to get those 2 draft picks. i think there's some solid talent to be had in the 2nd round.

It's a really deep draft, lots of guys who will start and a ton of rotation guys in addition to the franchise guys at the top.

How does Bill Simmons keep getting asked to host nba events? Dude sounds like the type of person who would cry to his mom if he lost a pickup game. His voice sucks, he whines everyone he talks and he's a Celtics homer

I enjoy Bill Simmons. He and Jalen have a nice dynamic, I also dig Zach Lowe.

I know everyone wants to go high in the draft but man it must suck knowing you are gonna have to spend your first few years in Cleveland or Milwaukee.

They should combine the draft with wipeout. Once a team selects their pick they have to complete an obstacle course to reach the podium before time expires.

Hmmm, I wonder if Payton ends up getting traded somewhere. Kind of a weird pick after taking Michael Carter-Williams last year.

The NBA draft is infinitely more watchable than the NFL draft. I'm not even a huge NBA fan, but I actually know the players being drafted and it's fairly fast paced with the 5 minute limit.

Hey, I was right!

Payton swapped for Saric. Makes a lot more sense. Orlando and Philly building with a lot of good young talent.

Warren likely woulda gone higher if he'd played for another team. But he's the man, and he knew what was up.

I'm stoked to follow him now. He's gonna be playing with PJ Tucker!

I hope Hairston goes soon. He's faced too much adversity to wait any longer.

^^no... probably lower because he wouldn't magically become a shooter or more athletic somewhere else and he wouldn't have had the monster stats on a better team.

I don't think anyone calls it a thug league these days. That rep came from (somewhat deservedly) the late 90s/early 00s.

I never thought it was a thug league, especially relative to something like the NFL. But tattoos! Cornrows!

I was sarcastically commenting on the Baylor guy being honored. Only a thug league would do that.
