It's coming.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lQscoVVvURk

I can't imbed. It's only like 15 seconds.

I don't see how they're going to be able to attain the same realism as BB.

^^ You don't see how a show about a slimy lawyer can be as realistic as a show about terminally ill science teacher who becomes the murderous kingpin of regional drug syndicate?

or maybe because Saul was essentially the comic relief for BB?

Hell, even if this idea never works, the theme song has made the concept a success

Very glad to hear that it's not the comedy/sitcom style of show. I just never really saw how that would work. I'll definitely check it out.

The Frasier Crane that appeared on Cheers is a fundamentally different character than the one that appeared on Frasier. They both work.

My reaction when Tuco showed up:

Also, just realized it, but Saul's windshield getting broken by the skater guy is continuing that ongoing joke about Walt's windshield getting broken, hahaha.

Wonder what other BB people will be on the show. I think whats-his-face already said Cranston wouldn't, but not sure about Pinkman

^definitely what I got from it. the fact that he's so jumpy leads me to believe he's running from something - either the cartels or the law.

That's what I figured, but for some reason I didn't think they would do anything post-BB, but I guess that was just their little transition from BB to Saul

Def a good show, and with out doubt a flashback type show...a lot how BB got in a way.

There were a few BB allusions/people

In one of the final episodes of BB (the one where Saul and Walt were in the little basement under the relocation guy's warehouse), Saul said he was being sent to Omaha, Nebraska, so obviously showing what Saul has been doing since the show ended. Probably paranoid about the cops finding him since there was the nationwide manhunt for Walt, and I'm assuming his known associates.

I can't remember where we left Saul at the end of BB. Who "sent" him to Omaha? Was he wanted or under a witness protection kinda deal? Or working for the cartel

same outfit who sent Walt to New Hampshire, the vacuum repair guy

I can't imagine watching the pilot and not knowing who Tuco was when he popped his head out of the door

In the first ep, when the skaters are filming tricks, you'll notice one of them telling the other to make the footage tight, tight, tight...just before Tuco shows up

I waited until last night to watch so I could watch them back-to-back and I was rewarded for it

it was like one last little binge-watch hit with how the first ep ended

"In its sorry state, Jimmy's Esteem (pun very much intended by Saul's producers) is more a reflection of its owner's unrealized potential, and throughout the pilot, this stubborn survivor of Jimmy's tragicomic misfortune, including a smashed windshield thanks to some scheming skateboarders, becomes not only a visual metaphor for McGill/Goodman, but a character of its own."

no one reads the 49th post but I really couldn't get into this. that being said, watching BB was a bit of a chore at times too.
