Lots of material here to chose from. This is just my list, and I would be interested in seeing what others had to suggest.
# 5 was very stoic and perfect for the movie.
#4: It is never stated whether or not she was the devil, but nonetheless the character fits the role perfectly.
# 3, have to include just for its comedy and being the best part of the movie.
#2, a must although at times a bit perfunctory. However, his diatribe at the end is still to this day an epic rant.
#1 is an absolute must for me, and it is hands down the best performance of the devil in a movie. Plus, he was only in the movie for about 15 minutes and managed to totally steal the show.

call me a stick-in-the-mud, but I like my Satans to look like Satan. I guess that's why I never quite dig most movie depictions (even South Park's Satan isn't cruel/menacing enough for my taste)
now here's a Satan you can set your watch to

That seems like it might fall under a stricter category, but good addition.
I also think the # 1, 4 and 5 on my list still manage to look pretty damn menacing.

Despite the critics initial reaction to it, I still think that this is a decent film. Unfortunately, it happened to come out when most people were just sick of Keanu, and Gavin Rossdale did nothing more than to just look good in a suit. But, aside from that it had a lot of great performances. This includes Keanu, who definitely performs best in his action roles. Also, I liked that much of the exposition was left out of the movie as it created a mysterious shim to a lot of the supporting characters and subplots. But without a doubt, Lucifer as depicted here is a classic.

way too gimmicky for a top 5. I had one spot for a comedic Satan and that was given to South Park. 9/15/2014 10:31:13 AM |

No on End of Days. He really only had one threatening scene and the rest was just standard cliché put a devil in a suit type role. 9/16/2014 3:03:23 AM |
