I thought the Boston College game was a missed opportunity for Dave Doeren but the GT and Carolina games could salvage his career. The defense actually won us the Syracuse game which I thought I would never say, but even though the defense improved its not saying much because Syracuse's true freshman QB put up over 300 yards on our secondary which STILL has tons of holes. The good news is GT doesn't have too much of a pass game, I mean they can do it but their bread and butter is obviously their run game which our defense showed improvements on. Georgia Southern destroyed GT's secondary in the passing game and GT like us needed a last hoorah to beat them. If our offense that dissappeard after the Florida State game shows up then this is a winnable game, but every time I get optimistic about NCSU Football that shit get squashed.

Hopefully they have some fumbles/bad options that result in turnovers...because this is a bad matchup for our defense. Our d-line is going to have to go nuts for us to win this game...and our offense is going to have to be running on all cylinders.

This is going to be a tough one.

Yeah their offense scares me. Fortunately we had a bye week to maybe get a jump start on prepping for it plus we played Ga Southern who I think runs a somewhat similar offense. I think this one has the makings of a pretty high scoring game.

Comes down to how many points our offense can score on their defense which has been pretty bad so far.

With our LBs we will be lucky to make this one a game. It's at home and homecoming but damn we won't be able to stop them. Our offense is not even putting up good numbers anymore.

Saw the defense settle into a 4-3 against Cuse in the second half, I suspect we'll play likewise defense against GT... There's just no way we can survive with only two LBs against an offense that threatens option on every play.

This is an awful matchup for us. LB is by far our weakest grouping on defense and you need stud LBs to shutdown an option attack. Watch our DBs get burned a few times by blowing assignments as well. Hopefully the offense will move the ball this game because otherwise
