i feel like florida is a better job than to hire a guy that's only coached at colorado state.

he's been successful as a coordinator at other schools and has coached in the SEC (2 National Championships with Alabama)

seems like a good enough resume to me

I wouldnt call coaching offense for those alabama teams sucess. Tremendous talent. Nfl defense and 20 something points per game. Those offenses just made sure they didnt lose the game.

Florida missed a huge opportunity. This is a shitty hire. So is mike riley.

These are supposed to be top programs along with michigan. I dont know what they are doing. Are peterson and patterson really that smart?(shaka)

Recruiting at Nebraska & Florida > Recruiting in Corvallis, Oregon and Fort Collins, Colorado

Funny to me people know when a hire is good or not. Mike Riley has long been a coach schools have coveted.

Mike Riley might be a good coach...but it sure does seem like a home run hire after firing Bo Pelini.

These arent bad coaches but they arent elite either. Id be pissed if I was an entitled fan. These guys didnt even do great by their last jobs standards. Its like that time we hored tob. Just on a higher level.

wow mike riley?! how nebraska has fallen, my god.

the real question this coaching season is: what powerhouse will have no choice but to hire lane kiffin?

also i think les miles takes the michigan job.

So you fire a younger, more successful coach and hire an older, less successful coach. Hmmm.

Les miles can basically make the playoffs every year he beats ohio state if he gets michigan to be like his typical lsu teams.

i did see on twitter where wisconsin assistants, compared to other football teams, don't get paid as much. so that may have been a contributing factor.

Jeff Jagodzinski is a Wisconsin native.

Guy went 20-8 with two Atlantic division titles (yes with Matt Ryan) in two years at BC, but can't keep a job.

4 straight 6-6 seasons for Pitt. 1 for Todd Graham, 3 for Chryst. It does not get more mediocre than that.

Michigan with the slam dunk hire. I don't know what all the other big schools were doing but they got it so right. Harbough's system will work much better at Michigan with the big hog mollies of the midwest. Ohio State will be embarrassed trying to play spread against SEC teams. An ieal harbough team would be the perfect fit to beat this year's alabama team.

I am glad UM is landing Harbaugh. The BiG is fucking garbage and OSU is basically guaranteed a playoff spot each season with fucking corrupt Meyer running the program. Harbaugh should have Michigan back in contention in a couple years. Fuck OSU and Urban Meyer.
