I really hope not! I found out via online that if the show comes back for a second season the only characters would be that of Ryan Phillipe and the Juliet girl....the first time I have disagreed with the Governor because him taking away the tax thing has brought almost a hault to filming here

It got picked up for a 2nd season. I have no idea why. This would have been the perfect show to have a one shot season and wrap everything up nicely. Unless they have another murder to solve with a whole different group of suspects, it's gonna be a really boring 2nd season if everyone including the audience and the lead detective already knows who the murderer is and they just rehash the same shit from the first season. I really wish they would have picked up Forever instead of this mess. At least that had a cliffhanger-ish ending that was worth exploring for another year or so. There's definitely not another years worth of story to be told here which means the writing team is going to have to get creative, which is almost never a good thing.
