LOL at the Clippers. Get SAS in the first round. Fuck Chris Paul.

I see the Spurs vs Lebron again in the finals with the Spurs winning it all. I'll be rooting for someone else to win the West though other than Cockpuncher Paul.

ATL, bla, Brooklyn big bla
Boston...ahh they ain't winning but it's cool when they are in it.
Toronto and DC...snoooze me to death, but my friends live in DC so could check a game out.
Cavs only excitement, the NBA is praying for the top 2 i mentioned.

Pelicans vs Warriors will be similar to Mavs vs Warriors '07.

'15 Warriors and '07 Mavs both have the same record. Both the 1 seed. Both (will) have the MVP on the team. Both playing a team who's star is (Baron/Anthony) DAVIS.

Plus to top it all off, the Warriors have to pass on the Karma i.e. St. Louis -> NC State -> LSU

All of the factors are present

I was just referring to the 111 ppg the Clips scored in the series, and a 40 point Game 2 victory

They won by 5 in game 7 at home. One 40 point game and 111 ppg didn't mean shit. It was a close series, for sure.

Ugly game but can't complain about OT to open the playoffs

And Doris Burke is actually not bad, but Pam Ward has forever ruined female announcers for me.

Imagine if Davis ever gets a real PG to feed him in the paint off pick and rolls. Dude is just insanely mobile for a 7 footer. Thanks NBA for rigging the drafts so that Charlotte missed out on two potential legends (Shaq and Davis). At least Charlotte got mourning in the Shaq draft, but fucking MKG instead of Davis is just depressing to even think about.

nobody forced them to pick MKG

in hindsight should have taken Drummond, Lillard, Beal, or Waiters

It's really impossible to make a call between the Spurs and Warriors.

warriors will be much fresher and spurs have some injury issues this year. If I had to pick now I think gsw is the clear favorite obviously due to an easy road.

But if the spurs get to WCF and are healthy It's a 50-50 type series.

I like Cleve over atl with sefolosha out.

got a nutload on Houston and wizards first round. Some on spurs. A Little on Boston vs Cleve at 20:1 odds. And 2:1 odds on Boston winning more games than dallas

And lol MKG is a stud. Waiters is absolutely terrible. He might be out of the league in a few years. I'd rather have mkg than Beal or Lillard. Lillard is a pg, theyre a dime a dozen and he's a horrible defender.

Lots of people sleeping on Memphis, including myself somewhat. They could very realistically beat GSW in the second round, provided they get by Portland. Fuck, the West is DEEP.

wow the clippers are playing about as good as they can play, griffin had two of his season dunk highlights within a few minutes of each other; I could still see the Spurs winning this series though

(btw the clippers fans/stadium should adopt the Ballmer arm dance whenever things are going well for the team

plus tony parker got dinged up for the whole game, this whole series is kind of frustrating; these are the two best playing teams in the west right now outside of golden state and one has to go home in the first round

edit: my god why is sportscenter in the morning so awful now; there were three or four tim tebow headlines in a row; I DON'T GIVE A FUCK; let alone it not being close to nfl season; talk about the fucking playoffs

^he was hurt

as critical as I'm going to be of the Cavs path to the finals... they are actually starting to develop an interesting dynamic; Irving never really being much of a point guard has actually really helped matters; in fact he may be playing better with lebron than either Wade or Bosh did; like a much more talented version of mo williams when he was lebron's sidekick (lebron actually seems like a pretty good basketball mind as though he saw the potential in that)

still a lot to be seen though...

also I don't see all the Kevin Love negativity either, if they make it to the finals and then he bails on the team he's going to look like a total fraud (assuming he goes to some rebuilding project where he's the guy); I mean he may be kind of a fraud as it is but he's still averaging a double double on a contending team right now, if they win a few titles that should secure his legacy much more than piling up stats because everyone else on your team stinks

(granted I haven't seen a ton of games to compare his minn and cleveland careers to see if the Blatt's offense is really squeezing him out and there's much more he can show)

He got some good post looks (and converted) in game one. They don't exactly have a lot of post-scoring, so that's a huge plus for them. He was, and always has been, a great rebounder...particularly on the offensive side. I tuned in and out of the game, but when I was tuned in, he was really active on the offensive glass. They're going to need that in the conference finals and against whoever they face in the west if they make it that far.

They don't need Love to run through most of the East...but they're going to need him big time if they want to get any further than that.
