this movie was a goddamn emotional rollercoaster. A chick behind me was in tears for nearly the entire thing.

The commercials didn't really draw me in, I don't know whether it was the premise, the art direction, or them showing clips that appealed to a different demographic. Plus I kept thinking Herman's Head.

Everyone is saying how good it was. I'll have to see it one day.

I didn't think this movie would be enjoyable to kids that young but I am admittedly no expert on young children

Kids that age around us the other day seemed bored with it

yeah...this might not be the movie for that age. it just wasn't a "fun" movie.

like if your idea of fun adventure is watching the happy emotions race out of a pit of despair before an 11 year old girl turns to full on goth dress and human trafficking, then it's up your alley.

wow, this movie could be this year's box office version of Edge of Tomorrow: It received massive critical acclaim and was often hailed as the best thing from Pixar, but it still couldn't beat out Jurrasic World on its second week. What a shame.

^^^this just shows you lack of knowledge.

It is also Pixar's top opening ever for original material. Inside Out was expected to make 65 Mil.

^^ No it doesn't. Stop comparing this shit to numbers that are almost a decade old now. I am sure that People at Disney are pissed that this lost to Jurassic World for opening Weekend.

This movie was fantastic, definitely got a little misty eyed.

And this movie made almost as much in it's first weekend as Edge of Tomorrow did during its whole run, and animated movies have huge legs. This is going to be a huge success (may not make as much as Minions though, kids love that shit).

If any movie deserves to be compared to Edge of Tomorrow it's Mad Max, and that movie was great too but it hasn't performed all that well compared to its budget.
