i guess the trailer makes it look bloody

but it appears to be a mystery thriller type movie

I loved it but two of my friends didn't.

I would say it isn't as action packed as the trailer made it seem and is more of a thriller/drama. Acting was absolutely perfect and the plot was solid. The score, cinematography, and acting really made this a very enjoyable movie though for me. Benecio Del toro at his best.

Went and saw this on Tuesday.

Awesome movie, Del Toro is the shit.

Question to all those that have seen it. Right before what I assume was a waterboarding for Guillermo, was Del Toro about to feed him a cock meat sandwich? Didnt really understand him getting all up on the guy.

I'm assuming there was some cock meat sandwich action happening. I really liked that they left that to the imagination. shit was brutal. Way cooler, than just showing us some waterboarding.

I thought the movie was OK. The extraction from Jaurez and tunnel scenes were intense. One problem I had was that everything went too perfectly according to plan no "good guys" really died.

SPOILER ALERT BELOW

They didn't like that the plot was so simple and thought it was completely pointless for the US to be involved in helping another cartel just so they could potentially control them. They also thought it was boring with too many tracking shots.

Also with the cock meat sandwich, I don't think he did that. I believe it was more of an intimidation ploy. I am the guy with the bigger dick and I will make you uncomfortable and do whatever I need to in order to get you to talk. If you notice Del Toro always made people uncomfortable throughout the movie by getting into their personal space, he did that by virtually sitting on that corrupt's cops lap in the car.
