My wife was out of town and none of my co-workers or various random friends like NC State (understandable) so I went to the Louisville game by myself. I felt like the dude from Blind Melon watching the puddles gather rain. Bad enough that we lost but watching a game during shit weather just makes the whole thing pointless.

That whole 2011 season was a huge missed opportunity for TOB. Manning got hurt early, which due to TOB's declining recruiting we had no viable back up at LB, and it killed our defense over the first few games. Then Manning came back, and the defense shut down teams as we beat Clemson, Carolina & Louisville. But the offense was inconsistent (because we had to rely on Glennon to throw the ball 50 times a game) and we went and lost at BC & at Wake.
