Doeren seems to be doing the opposite of the typical NC State coach by beating Wake in Winston but losing the home game to Clemson/FSU so I'll say he pulls this one off.

Doeren is really good at beating shitty teams so I think we pull this one out. Be warned, even though BC's offense is crap expect to see them have at least three 35+ yard runs on our defense as they have been consistently terrible.

Well this sucks. Samuels & Gallaspy should be able to fill the RB void fine (I'll never complain about giving Samuels extra touches), but losing a weapon like Dayes hurts. Especially when Brissett has only looked good in 1/3 ACC games and we've already lost Shadrach.

because we already had 3 all-acc caliber backs. Theres no way to predict your top 2 backs would get injured and if frazier played with them he would've been 4th in carries. We still have 1 big time back, 1 guy who can get the job done when hes tired (nichols) and gallaspy as a backup. One of those guys will have to redshirt next year since we'll have dayes and frazier with samuels playing his flex position.

Unless you had a crystal ball it was a great decision to let frazier replace shad because thats a lot of carries to replace. Days as a workhorse back was always going to be a hazard for him. This is the year the could have been with our perfect backfield never getting to play an acc game but now we'll just have to wait and see how these young guys develop.

gallaspy was an early enrollee. frasier was not. doeren also has said frasier has (or maybe had?) been dealing with an injury.

there was always a little bit of an air around his recruitment that fraiser was overrated

obviously that got dialed back once it became obvious we were in for him and it changed from him being overrated to "he's playing 1A, dont expect too much from in the first year"

yeah, frasier was in a walking boot for a long time.

And yes, Gallaspy was the lowest rated of the 3 RBs we signed, but he started in the spring, so he had a head start on conditioning/knowing plays/learning pass protection.

Frasier is the future at RB, make no mistake about it. There's a reason that FSU, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, etc offered him.
