If they would to excuse all the workers that handle traffic, parking, concessions, tickets .... and pay them for the day I'd be willing to stay home. But unless they say they won't allow people to attend the game I don't believe its a problem for those that are capable of driving in these conditions. I learned to drive in conditions where this would be a normal day and you'd get your butt to work. I realize that most aren't comfortable and shouldn't be driving; that's a smart move on their part.
