I'm keeping my spirits up, but I'm afraid for this season.

I'm five episodes in to season 4. DEFINITELY the best season since season 1, so far.

Finished the season this morning. Much better than Season 3.

about halfway through. Much better than season 3 without question.

I actually quit watching about 8 episodes into season 3, because it was so meh.

I did make myself watch the rest of S3 before starting S4. The last few episodes of S3 were markedly better than the middle 4 or 5.

Although I found season 4 less believable it was still very entertaining. I am curious if season 5 will be it.

I think this show is a lot closer to The Walking Dead than GOT or BB. I'm trying to find reasons to stick with it, but it's fading.

I'm on S4E10 and this is getting really bad. Like cheesy bad.

Kate Mara and Neve Campbell look too similar. I almost thought Kate Mara was somehow back in the show.

Very disappointing last few episodes, although as said, it is substaintially better than season 3.

We make the terror? What's their plan here? bomb the region, stop ICO and tout that as being a President that's worthy?

I just don't get it.

I assume we are past spoilers at this stage.

Just finished the season. The directing was too choppy from episode to episode, made it feel like I was watching different shows.

I hated the beginning of the season, up until the shooting. Then it got much better. I think my favorite parts were when they cut back and forth between the prep sessions to the speeches and meetings.

Except for one being 10 years older than the other.

^^ IIRC, the murder was done on live TV, and that viewing could have been stopped if Frank wanted it. He allowed it and encouraged people to watch (I guess for the guy's bravery against unwavering extremism), generating a large amount of 'terror' in the public eye, making ICO a bigger target than him. He becomes tabloid by comparison.

His guiding hand purposefully made the terror of the situation much larger. He is controlling how the people feel by controlling what they see. He sees this as his narrative to write. He and Clair "make the terror".
