Just when we started to roll, the refs called fouls on 5-6 straight possessions completely neutering our D and allowing Wake to come back. Maybe 1-2 were actual fouls. ACC officiating at its best

worst part of officiating really is the consistency imo. at the start of the year they are all in on this "freedom of movement" stuff and not allowing any hand checking or anything of that nature. as the season wears on the get further away from that concept. although this game has been the exception to that...it's been called tighter. and even from half to half, refs will let guys play for 20 mins, then tighten up in the 2nd half. it's just really frustrating to watch and takes a lot out of the game imo.

i get that refs are gonna miss calls...that foul on freeman was absolute garbage, but refs fuck up sometimes. worse than just missing a call is completely doing a 180 on how you call a game from half to half or game to game. consistency would be very welcome.

5 of 6 puts us at 8-10 and then going 2-1 in the ACCT puts us at 10-11. With our crappy OOC performance, that does not get us in. We just need to try and stay around .500 and hope for the NIT.

Our schedule is brutal too. @Uva, Clem, UNC, @Syracuse, BC, @ND

3 nearly guaranteed losses and a likely 4th at Syracuse. All those bad losses to GT, Wake, VT, FSU, etc are too much to overcome. Poor Cat.
