Surprisingly good movie that was nothing like the original. This should have been the original because the original was dumb. If this was real, anyone who wasn't participating would be where theyre going to be days before it actually started. Even with hurricanes, no one in their right mind goes to the grocery store 2 hours before the shit gets real. Where the fuck was that couple going?

The premise for these movies always seemed really dumb to me. I mean from what I gather it's some story where a bunch of rich people prey on a bunch of poor people, but in Purge America are guns incredibly expensive or what?

I mean if this was realistic, if there was a day where all crime was legal the rich people would spend all day doing insider trading instead of random murders.
