Seinfeld is a good answer. I say this as a huge fan of the show. Even on the DVDs they say they knew Jerry wasn't a good actor, it's part of the reason they picked Jason Alexander to play George.

I tend to agree with this, she isn't anywhere near as bad a Piper in OITNB, but definitely the weakest link.

All the girls in Girls are pretty much the worst, the guys are the ones that make me enjoy the show.

I do agree that Leslie is one of the weaker characters - just because all the other characters are so great. But I agree that Ann is probably the weakest. Wasn't Mark only in the first season or 2? Not sure I'd really count him in the conversation.

And when I saw the thread title, Ted from HIMYM instantly came to mind. I didn't finish that series mostly because I couldn't stand his character any longer.

ha - i love Leslie. but the other characters on that show are so strong. Rob Lowe's character, to me, was pretty weak...along with Ann. I didn't think about Rob Lowe earlier when thinking of the cast, though.

It's funny you mention that. I just heard that guy on Comedy Bang Bang and he's actually really funny (and can be very broad). But he's just the complete straight man on Silicon Valley
