Lol yeah I was confusing him with the guy who was convicted of murder and was eventually let out of prison by Nixon.

Thompson is a hero. Carry on and ignore my crazy ramblings.

Now that the Democratic machine has all but scuttled Bernie's chances of nomination, enjoy 4 more years with Trump you fuckers!

I know a lot of people who would vote for Trump if Bernie was the D nominee. However if Biden is the nominee, very few would vote for Trump (not necessarily saying they would vote for Biden). Biden is the more electable nominee for the D's.

Now the rumor is that Trump is gonna dump Pence in his second term and pick Nikki Haley as his new VP if he's re-elected. If so, he's becoming a new John Mccain who picked Sarah Palin as his partner in 2008.

I gotta hand it to you shoot, you do make it really hard to determine if you're an alias or not.

But you are right, Nikki Haley and Sarah Palin are both women. Good point.

It's for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. He wants to make sure Trump family is becoming a dynasty like Bush, and dominate this country forever.

I understand that you are a pretty smart dude, but there's no way Bernie or Biden would do way better than the other candidate (between each other, I mean)

we don't have as many swing voters in the country as people think

if (when, most likely) Trump wins again, it's going to be some more electoral cheating crooked bullshit

oooh maybe if I just keep saying Trump is definitely going to win, he won't

because I was 99% sure he wasn't going to win last time

Haley is not as stupid as Palin was / is. The only way this could be good is if there's a serious plan to invoke the 25th Amendment.

In my experience, she is usually more capable of forming a coherent sentence. You don't have to be a polymath to be demonstrably less stupid than Sarah Palin. Maybe not as much of a maverick, though.

Have you guys done this?

Trevor explaining the tourney:

Trump’s Best Word: The Bracket Tournament | The Daily Show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jY0luez_2qk

I voted in all the Round 1 pairings

Oh, and here are all the 64 best words clips in one 4-min video

Trump’s Best Words: Bracket Edition | The Daily Show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftpc4fwcDfk

I started laughing so much (first YT link) that I swallowed some air/spit in the wrong way and then started coughing and choking, literally. Had rivers of tears running down my face and started burning up... just be careful in case it makes you laugh as much as it made me

Not sure that’s remotely true. Biden has literally been polling as good or better than any of the 20 original candidates. That’s not even a defense of Biden. He certainly wasn’t my pick.

In these hyper-partisan times what mythical nominee would be a shoo-in to win? Maybe Michelle Obama but that is never, ever happening. Period.

Biden has a lead in basically every swing state, so I don't know where the "Anyone else would have been better" idea comes from.

Is it crazy to think that tara reade's accusations could help biden? since trump's admission of grabbing women by the pussy gave him a boost among the dregs of society, maybe those same deplorable fucks will vote for biden because he grabs pussies (allegedly) and DIDNT dodge the draft

That doesn’t answer my question. At all.

Our perceived bias is that Biden is a terrible candidate but there is no empirical evidence that any of the 20 or so others who ran polled better against Trump now or a year ago. Simply none.

So again, I ask what candidate out there would have been a shoo-in in these hyper-partisan times. My answer is Barack Obama (can’t because of Constitutional amendment) or Michelle Obama (won’t.. ever.. ever). So in other words, no one.

Biden is overperforming with old people (the majority of people who vote) and underperforming with young people. Most of us aren't really in tune with old people voting patterns, but they seem to love him.

Seems like their voting preference hierarchy is:
fellow old decrepit person > racist/xenophobe > white male >>> socialist jew > black person

Or maaaaaybe, the Dems have taken a page from the GOP playbook, and wandered too far from the center of American society. Maybe Biden draws popularity because the younger core of the Democratic Party has gone batshit, and Biden is the most center-left offering available.

^^the last 4 Dem nominees for pres have been John Kerry,, Obama, Hilary, and Biden. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are the leaders in congress. So radical! So left wing!

FOH comparing them to the Trump

I wish you were right and the Dem party was as far left as you claim but you have to be literally brain damaged to think that's actually true

^ that, or at least that wing of the party, and that the Dem Party has gotten dragged much too far in that direction.

and I'm referring to the much larger than that percentage of left-wing TWW political posters who can't seem to grasp that they're way out there relative to most of America.

at any rate, I'm talking about over the last few years. John Kerry is about as relevant to this discussion as Bob Dole is.

"the Dems" chose Biden, the most conservative Dem candidate since I don't know how long. You can't say "the Dems" then say I meant tww or even 35% of the party.

Polling shows your views are shrinking as years go by. If you want to know what is out of touch with America, it's you. Never Trump republicans are like 3% of the country.
