This is Man Uniteds best run of games for two years (WWWDWDWDW) and United currently hold the highest win percentage this season so far since Fergie retired.

Long balls played this season. Liverpool 14th with 1,030. Manchester United 18th with 976. Man City 19th with 937. Arsenal 20th with 769. Interestingly enough Stoke City is 15th with 1,018. Klopp = Pulis confirmed.

We're converting those 0-0s and 1-1s to 1-0s and 2-1s. Hopefully get some bigger wins soon.

Aimorris so cute. All of his 'objective' points get refuted so he continues down his desperate path. Must be nice watching a grand total of one united match and looking at uniteds position and taking it as gospel. Haters gonna hate I guess. Loving how Mourinho has just made the hate against us 10 times more relevant. Absolutely perfect manager for us.

Everyone loved Mourinho before he went to United!!!!

Just like always it took the greatest football club on earth for him to be hated!!

Maybe you should read what I posted already. People hated Mourinho long before he came to United and people already hate Man United so its a perfect fit. God forbid we start winning consistently that would just be perfect. United fans are already salty as fuck about the last 3 years, we aren't gonna shut up if Mourinho wins us titles.

The insistence that United is still a shit team is absolutely glorious. Its like others can't handle the fact that we may finally be waking up from our slumber and with a manager that is so divisive and has so much more to prove after that Chelsea failure.

They were never a shit team. Played some shit football from time to time but who doesn't?

They are playing better than they were under LVG but forgive me for not praising that when I've listened to Arsenal get shit on for a decade when playing decent football to watch and not actually winning.

Costa is on fire. WBA away is going to be a tough one. Expecting a draw but a win would be amazing. Fatigue comes into play today I think and we will see how the team responds. A win today and we have built up some consistent going into boro and Sunderland at home. Would be an important win. With the form WBA are in though and the match being at the Hawthorne a draw wouldn't be the worst result depending on the context.

lol what are you even rambling about?

Refute my objective point that United have scored 22 goals in 16 games.

You care about results obviously bc United haven't been getting them the last few years like they used to. I get it and if you love Mourinho for it, great. I personally like to enjoy watching soccer and I've hated Mourinho for years and I hate watching the way his teams play.

You're the one looking at results and table position and taking it as gospel, we're the ones actually commenting on how United are playing... Admittedly they look better than a month ago when I made that comment but it's still pretty boring to me.

Arsene Wenger:
"We conceded two offside goals, which is very difficult to accept in a game of that stature, but -- as it is well known -- the referees are protected very well like the lions in the zoo, so we have to live with those decisions."

Jose Mourinho:
“I think Mr Taylor is a very good referee but because such pressure is being put on him I think it will be difficult for him to have a very good performance at Anfield. I don’t really want to say too much more on the matter. I have my view but I have learned a lesson, if you want to call it that, by being punished so many times for my words about referees.”

Wenger doesn't get charged but Mourinho does. Fair.

lol. Its about consistency. The FA apologized to Wenger to throwing a bottle but charged Jose for "reckless endangerment" for kicking a bottle. Jose is definitely singled out over any criticism purely because its Jose. Of course you will just dismiss this as playing the victim card though lol.

^^ it is. Wenger got shit on for years for the all foreign 18. People were acting like he was destroying English football for good. It happens when you're under the spotlight.

Wenger absolutely plays the game like everyone else (with his crap about the refs) but you act like this isn't the reaction to years and years of Mourinho nonsense.

Considering they've scored nearly double the goals in the league as your club, that conversation must have flown directly over your head a couple days ago.

Considering we beat Tottenham your position on the table in 5th is a farce. Americans are always obsessed with stats. As I said keep thinking United is playing shit boring football but I guess thats what floats your hate boat these days when we are finally ticking and Jose looks like the seasoned manager he is.

You implied that Liverpool played a boring shit game, dick.

They've created more chances than any team in europe so you just look like a fucking wanker spouting off. That's damn near every post for you though. Don't let facts get in the way of weak banter tho...

[Edited on December 21, 2016 at 8:18 AM. Reason : also, we beat City at home, so does that mean their position is a farce? Bless me with this logic]

Yes the same logic that is judging United's play because of arbitrary stats that don't actually show how you play. Did Liverpool play like shit on monday? For the first 45 minutes they absolutely did, I was actually bored out of mind watching the first 45 minutes of football, neither team wanted to commit or make mistakes. Liverpool stepped it up for the next 45 minutes and that much was expected given the stark difference in quality between the squads.

Quote :
"I personally like to enjoy watching soccer and I've hated Mourinho for years and I hate watching the way his teams play."

The bias is there for all to see. United played briliiant football and completely outplayed Tottenham at Old Trafford but has one goal to show for it. I guess that must have been a boring match to watch as well?

Quote :

I like how stats without context like these work for Liverpool but when United have stats that display how well we have been playing they are dismissed. Liverpool have had 217 key passes in the PL and 31 assists. They lead the PL in that. Tottenham have had 219 key passes and 18 assists. They are second in the PL in that. Man United have had 179 key passes and 17 assists. We are 5th in the PL in that. Arsenal is 7th with 155 key passes and 27 assists. Where are the table positions for all of those teams?

I wonder how it is living in lala land and not even acknowledging that United are playing good football. Then again you saw 1-0 against the Spurs and you probably thought oh great another Mourinho performance holding on to a 1-0 when the reality doesn't reflect that at all.

A good run of games against mid table teams means United have been awesome all season and we were all wrong pointing out how garbage they looked.

I've already admitted they've improved since I made those comments at 13 games and I acknowledged a solid win against WBA.

Where? PSG? Can't stand that fake club.

He really came into his own the last year after his injury problems. But after the Ozil signing and already a logjam out-wide I knew there was no chance of him signing with Arsenal.
