Due to personal reasons at close to the last minute, I want to get some video of a family member's wedding. I am NOT looking for a professional (and associated fee) or full scale videographer. The point of getting video is to share with elderly family that cannot attend. No video editing is required - just shoot and capture the moments. My brother has done this in the past but he is in the wedding party.
Looking for someone with some experience shooting decent video with camcorders (knows how to choose good viewing angles and shots, zooms at appropriate pace not haphazard, not moving/panning too quickly etc).
I will provide 2 camcorders (NOT professional grade) with USB cards installed and tripods. Or if you had your own you preferred, that's fine. I will provide media and will take it at end of evening.
Perhaps some of bride and bridesmaids before ceremony after 1 PM. Wedding ceremony at 2 PM in Cary will be passive - set up camcorder on tripod and let it roll. Perhaps some video during picture taking after ceremony Reception starting 5:30 (Happy Hour) until 10:30 exit - get all the big moments such as: - wedding party entrance - initial dances - cake cutting - best man/maid of honor toasts - garter/bouquet toss - some of the dancing - sparkler exit - you get the idea. Part of the gig is being smart enough to know what to shoot and being ready. Itinerary will be provided.
Dinner provided at reception.
I do not know how to price this (will negotiate fairly - not looking to do this "on the cheap") and the commitment is a long day. If interested, PM me with your qualifications and your fee and any questions or suggestions. 10/3/2016 9:42:59 PM |
