I'm pretty baffled how he isn't getting hit harder by stating we are not heading toward a recession and then also calling for a 1pt cut and a dose of QE. QE and a 1pt cut should be reserved for a rather serious recession, and really no QE unless we're moving toward negative inflation.

Stating one and proposing the other should be enough to say either 1) you're lying about the recession and there are rough roads ahead or 2) you really don't understand what these tools are for nor do you understand the economy.
