So I am a Senior graduating spring 17". My friends keep on telling me that they will use my FALL 16" gpa for graduation/honor mention during commencement instead of my spring gpa. I am worried that one class may ruin everything for me this semester and I wont be able to graduate with honors as I have been wanting to... or do they even mention that you're graduating with a certain honor mention when they give you your "diploma" .

Is there someone that already graduated from NCSU that can give me some feedback on this?

Your last semester will count. All you grade have to clear before you get your diploma. They'll add the appropriate honors to you diploma when issued and your transcript will also reflect any honor earned.

As for graduation ceremonies, they won't have all of your grades yet when they print programs and sell you regalia, so those things may not reflect your final state.

For undergraduate graduation, the only denotation of honors is whatever regalia you wear and some extra symbols after your name in the program. As for departmental ceremonies, those vary so YMMV.
