I have a used Impressa S9 for sale. I'm selling because it has the "Fill System" error and won't brew a consistent cup of coffee right now. The factory wants too much for just a service call, their trade offer is still much more than I have budgeted for, and I don't have the time to tinker with it (replace lines, seals, etc).
I will email/text pictures to those interested.
Might have better luck on eBay, but would like to sell locally to avoid a shipping fee (it's not light).
$500 or best offer. 12/31/2016 7:56:06 PM |

Lol at $500 coffee maker.
That too, a used one with a defect. Wonder how much it cost new....
In a blind taste test, would you be able to tell the difference between coffee made by that, coffee made by a $200 machine, and a $50 machine? Most people wouldn't be. 1/1/2017 12:42:16 AM |

Yes to all of the above. Hence why I bought another superautomatic after trying out alternatives for a few weeks. 1/1/2017 8:30:44 AM |

I'll back Restricted up on this... I have an older J9 and these machines are absolutely on point. 1 button takes roasted whole beans to practically perfect espresso shots via a series of delightful clunks and whirs.
Can you make good espresso for $200-300? Absolutely. I started with a DIY unit for about $250 and it made solid espresso for about a year before giving up. Plus I needed a water filter, bean grinder, thermometer, daily cleanup, and about 15 minutes.
It's the automatic part you pay for.
Long story short, excellent machine, and on the affordable end of the espresso machine scale. 1/2/2017 11:50:23 AM |

Lol. Let's look at eBay. First one doesn't have a water tank,...$100 part...$349+39 shipping+$100 tank = $488. Only other working machine is @ $182 and is missing buttons and looks like it has a tray error..4 days left on that auction too. A factory refurb will run you $1100. 1/3/2017 11:29:55 AM |
