Agreed about Keita but I think I said that before.

Weird thing about Ox is if you believe Ornstein he wants to leave Arsenal and rejected Chelsea because they won't start him at CM. Um... Henderson, Can, Lallana, Keita (next year). He would be fifth choice..

[Edited on August 30, 2017 at 7:55 AM. Reason : Arsenal, of course, should start him at CM for a run over the likes of Elneny and fucking Coquelin]

He's basically a long-term replacement for Milner, who said the same stuff about playing CM and has been a utility guy the last few years but also has gotten the chance at CM occasionally.

Lallana is almost 30 and injured frequently, Milner will be gone soon, Can is supposedly going to Juventus on a free next year. He'll have some opportunities.

Milner was at the twilight of his career when he joined. Not in his prime. A bit different. And I still think Ox could be a dynamic talent. Reality is Wenger used to be the perfect manager for a player like him but that is a lifetime gone by. Klopp could do wonders for him and frankly I think he deserves to be given that chance. He's been a good club guy for six years.

Also, just remembered Santi Cazorla. Did Wenger take out back Barbaro style? Where the hell is he?

Santi is just getting back into training from injury...

Suspect we'll get him around Oct. and he'll last a game or 2 before another injury because, you know, Arsenal.

What the fucking fuck? It's Ornstein so we know it's accurate. Where the fuck did the money go? To stock Giroud's
hair gel? They have a fucking net profit this window. Tactically and as a motivator, Wenger is past it but if this nonsense is true he should fucking come out blasting someone..

I'll say this: Arsenal has not only one-upped some NC State shit - they have taken it too a whole new level.

But wait - murmurs of Draxler!. Again! /sarcasm

City should fork over the £70m for Sanchez. It's not like Arsenal will ever spend it.

Seeing 'Spurs swooping in to convince Llorent to N. London instead.

Just realized, but all 3 big London clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, of course) have all done very little or mucked everything up so far

I mean, tbf, I'd normally be ok with a summer of Laca, Kolasinic and the likes of either VVD or Lemar (no money has to be complete horseshit). But the way they let three contracts run down and just the overall Wenger malaise has destroyed everything.

Check out arseblog.com if you haven't before btw. Good Arsenal community. Doing a solid deadline day liveblog too that will condense all the Arsenal rumors/deals/etc in one place.

So PSG really wants to see how big a stick FFP actually wields?

Plan to buy Mbappe for ~166m after season long loan.

Get the fuck in Aurier

I disagree about Spurs' window. They improved their already beast back line and got a capable backup striker that Vinny was not. If Gomes comes off that's another solid midfield rotation player too. We didn't need to go out and buy the world as our first team is really good we just need a RB desperately and that was filled with arguably and upgrade at half the price as Kyle.

^ I'd agree with that. Never understood the Barkley rumors.

I'm okay with the window. Positives: I think Salah is class. Solanke, Robertson, and Ox are all solid depth. Held on to Coutinho.

Negatives: Needed a CB badly. Wouldn't be surprised if we go for VVD in January. Just hope we aren't out of the title race by then.

Mistake early on cost them Van Dijk. Was a sure thing before having to go hands off. Bet you get him in January. I suspect United/City won't have run off quite by then..

PSG is just ridiculous. If FIFA wasn't so corrupt they'd stop that nonsense.

City, United, and pool all had really good windows. Arsenal are a farce and Wenger is doing his best to ruin his legacy.

[Edited on August 31, 2017 at 9:26 PM. Reason : I'm fine with the Ox sale as long as it means Kolasinac will play LB ]

I saw it every year but international breaks suck 3 weeks into a club season. Just when teams start building momentum there's 2 weeks off.

On the bench. I see him playing where Wijnaldum plays in CM mostly. Maybe in for Salah/Mane occasionally on the wings and at RB when we're desperate.

That was a very needed convincing win yesterday. We really bossed the game and it could have been a lot worse on the scoreline. Poch also debuted Sanchez and he was fucking monster. I can't wait to see how that guy develops but he was silky on the ball and very cool in a couple of tough spots. He's actually 2 months younger than Dele too.

We altered the formation to fit him in perfectly as a sort of modified sweeper. Poch switched to Kane up top and a diamond right behind him with a defensive "bucket" around the attacking players. Check out the positional chart when we had the ball yesterday

He was always going to be a project type of manager. Did they think he was going to turn around that dumpster fire in 2 months?

I would not be surprised at all to see Spurs make a push for Zaha in January. Poch loves him.

Rashford on Debut:

- Europa League: 2 goals
- Premier league: 2 goals
- League Cup: 1 goal
- FA Cup: 1 goal
- England: 1 goal
- Champions League: 1 goal

Only competition left is the World Cup which he hasn't played yet.

Poch said this was a "cup final" in his press conference and it is really whether or not we advance honestly. Real Madrid will obviously take the first spot so the 2 matches with Dortmund really determine the outcome.

They're missing a few big players, and we're at home this leg. This is a MUST 3 points today or the challenge becomes much greater. No Alli for us through suspension so I think Son comes in and we play a 3241 with Dembele and Dier holding.

Still riding that wave from yesterday. It was a terrific team performance. Poch got it right tactically seeing they play a ridiculously high of having us sit back and absorb pressure then counter them. Aurier is going to be a gem and Sanchez had Auba on lock.

But the man Harry Kane, what a player. He's proving his medal in this competition now and after dissenters tried to say he couldn't do it in Europe. His first goal where he beasted 3 guys from the halfway line then beat the keeper was a goal to remember.

Pool fans, wtf was Lovren doing on Sevila's first goal? I've watched that replay quite a few times and still have no idea how he couldn't clear that.
