I liked the plot points, but had a hard time understanding where they were going with it. Something about term limits maybe in the middle, but that was out the window by the last couple episodes.

They tried too hard to bring back all the season 1 & 2 characters and storylines: Zoe, Rachel, Lisa, Matthews, Walker, Tusk, Peter Ruso, Lucas, Remy, Jackie...not all of them were on screen, but the show felt like they had to remind us about all of them.

Instead, I had no clue who half of the this seasons regulars are and no memory of how they got to their current positions. I'm sure they were all in season 4, I just can't remember them because there have been too many characters in an out.

Season 5 was still better than Season 3 and 4, but I thought both of those seasons were pretty awful.

Man, this season is terrible

I don't care about most of the story lines like Frank's trainer or Claire's journalist. The Gov of NY turns into a whiny little bitch over night. His PTSD/war story is brought up and then promptly dropped. The Usher guy seems to just show up whenever the plot needs it. The whole cult thing in the woods was stupid, etc etc etc

Jane Davis - this lady comes out of nowhere, knows everything, and can apparently have people killed whenever the need arises. She's just like Usher, she shows up whenever the plot needs to move along.
