There is an open letter going around FB right now regarding the treatment of social outcasts. It's a valid point, and yet another part of the multi-faceted issue of mass shootings in this country. What do people say in the comments right off the bat? "Why are you victim blaming?" Wtf. Victim blaming? How about just being a decent person rather than make fun of somebody. You aren't victim blaming by asking cliques for more inclusion.

I'm not saying that all mass shooters have been social outcasts, but it does seem to be a theme here.

Nobody deserves to die because they ignored the weird kid in the back. But a little bit of kindness could go a long way.

It is just a small part of a much bigger issue that gun control alone won't solve. When these things happen, that's all we hear...guncontrolguncontrolguncontrol. But there are so many other problems going on as well that contribute to these guy's decisions to shoot up a building.

i think everybody should have a gun in the US... that will cut down all sorts of crime rates magically overnight, as it would be MAD as in the case of nuclear-armed countries.

i mean, there are almost 400 million guns in the US, which is more than the population, so a voluntary forced program should be started for all the crazy hoarding gun nuts to share their guns so it becomes 1 gun/person. babies can't use guns, but everybody aged >= 5 should end up with a gun.

once that happens, everybody will be safe.

its a rage-quit from a shitty society. i say society because its a rigged society where a few people have all of the power and no one else has any. you either have financial power or social power but if you don't start off with the privilege of money, looks, or talent, you are nothing and have no value in this society and it has to hurt.

i dont want it to be that way but thats how it is and no one wants to address it or help those poeple so a very small percentage of them will want to rage quit. read the manifestos thats what it is.

the gun nuts are partially correct its not just a gun problem but its convenient for us to point to one thing and its very inconvenient to say that its societal values that permeate every aspect of society.

we are lucky females aren't into killing or it would be 10x worse.
