Can E-waste be profitable?

Say I have a pallet of 50 desktops or 100 laptops or servers or whatever (printers, switches, etc).

From my understanding some recycling vendors will pay $0.20 per lb in some cases. A 300 lb pallet is like $60 bucks in your pocket. thoughts?

How much time and energy would it take you to load all that, drive it to a recycle center and unload it. Sorry Mother Earth but $60 isn’t worth it.

Either let it take up space in a landfill or recycle it and give some third-world 7 year old cancer from the reclamation process.

I don't guess there are any Solaris machines in your trash is there?
