The man who I thought would challenge city/pool for the title got fired halfway through. Excuse me for thinking a team finishing 2nd should improve but Mou was let down in the pre season and other issues he brought on by himself. Its not just up to the manager to improve a player. These players haven't improved under LVG, Mourinho and now after 5 months under Ole so at what point does it become the player's fault? Ole has already complained about Martial's attitude.

Liverpool went from 7th or 6th to 2nd. I am not saying this United team will do that but Ole hasn't even had a proper pre season. I will hold off on sacking a man who has barely scratched the surface till he has had a chance to prove what he can do in a proper season. Ole is also 150% committed to the job and the club so I'd rather we see what he has before knee jerking because of a downturn in form in a pretty shit season to begin with. The best part about Ole is that these useless players have nowhere to hide anymore.

I don't expect a massive clear out but I hope Pogba, Bailly, Darmian, Rojo, and Sanchez never put on the red shirt again. The board already fucked it up by giving both Jones and Smalling new contracts but I wouldn't have minded seeing one of them gone either. Young is decent depth but he shouldn't be a starter. If De Gea isn't committed he can leave as well. I also wouldn't renew Mata given his age. Herrera and Valencia are already out. Ole needs to bring in players like Greenwood, Chong and Gomes into the fold with whomever comes in with the transfer window but we need a whole new right side, a whole new midfield if Pogba leaves and a CB. Not going to be easy and we'll see next season if Ole is a man of just saying the right things and not acting or actually has substance.

Dang just got done watching both after mothers day stuff. 2 minutes of hope!

Still, amazing season. I'll settler for 3rd best PL season ever and a shot at Europe in a few weeks!

This is a little depressing but also shows what a magnificent season for Liverpool. Props to $ity.
